Mainly just illustrations of characters from an existing anime, game, manga, book, etc., but feel free to include an artist's original work if you want. The point of this thread is mainly just sharing cool art you stumble upon on pixiv or something. Also, if you're grabbing something off a pixiv page or something similar, feel free to link the page with it, but I'll leave it to you to decide where lines are drawn if the rest of their work is nws, and how you handle it. Just, at the very least, make mention of it. And when it comes to fanart for western things... Western fanart of anime is fine, but I'd slightly discourage posting japanese fanart of western shows for the simple reason that this just isn't the forum for those, and absolutely don't post western fanart of western shows because at that point this thread might as well be in a completely different subforum, and then posting a drawing of Takane Shijou cosplaying as Cutie Honey gets a lot more awkward. That's basically it! Oh, one more thing. If you're dumping a whoooooooole lot of biiiiiiig images, TIMG IT, DUDE!

I'm going to share my three favorite artists who've been doing fanart for Love Live! Sunshine!! First up, we have アント (Ant, probably), who's on the list mostly (but not entirely!) for this one image.  XI really like their use of soft colors and their facial expressions. They're great at showing passion, or a character on the verge of breaking down:  Next up we have Eulyin.  XI really like her use of lighting when she draws in color, her sketchy hair that seems to lay more naturally than most, and her gorgeous eyes. Her eyes pop even in black and white:  As a nice added benefit, she's Malaysian and knows English, so most (all?) of the comics she posts in Japanese also get posted elsewhere in English. She makes longer doujinshi in English, and at least occasionally puts them up for order/preorder internationally. I discovered her just a couple days after the most recent deadline  Last (but first in my heart) we have Mezashi.  XMezashi draws the absolute cutest things I've ever seen, and when she wants, she manages to make things incredibly sensual at the same time, despite pretty much never doing anything that's actually NWS. This (Yoshiko & Hanamaru) is her favorite pairing, and she makes me want to love them to. So, I do. Quite a few of her doujins have been translated, some by yours truly. She's very prolific, and the above piece is just the most recent thing posted to her twitter. Everything she draws is so incredibly cute that one can just click on something at random from her pixiv  Xand yup, it's super loving cute. Side note: Mezashi's birthday was just a couple days ago, and there were a bunch of other artists drawing YoshiMaru for her on twitter

Shuumatsu no Izetta was a mediocre show with a great main couple that there's a fair bit of really nice art being made for. I probably like the fanart more than almost anything in the show itself.

I don't know anything about this artist (alternate, incomprehensible homepage) but their Persona series fanart is just really adorable.    They seem to favor a specific romantic pairing (P3MC/Fuuka) but who cares, it's cute.

Leo Modesto does good stuff.
