Really? You're fishing for colors, in a game where colors can be stolen, you admit it's for role reasons, and are being purposefully vague about what the reasons are.

Based purely on the OP, I suspect that scum do not have a night kill? Maybe? But instead ruin Kashuno's undoubtedly lovely work by loving with the pretty colors?

Beyond that, I don't know that I have anything of value to contribute apart from if I were scum, I would want to look like a bitter meta-enemy of my buddies to trick town later in the game, and here we have stickup and Inf measuring dicks. Is that meaningful? I dunno.

So why would chores even think about counter claiming? There's nothing in there to suggest that the same colour is another alignment or anything, and it obviously allows for multiple people to have the same colours.

I can't see the thought behind it unless his PM was fundamentally different.

You're wrong; brushes are a thing, and they absolutely can be a town role. Your case is built on a misunderstanding of the town PMs, assuming that they would be the same for everyone.
