 yeah shibata vs ishii got me into njpw and he was always one of my favorites. i was marking the hell out for the shoot wrestling at the start of his match against okada, i love how he works.

i really hope he ends up okay and if it means he can't wrestle again. please be okay shibata :(

 i watched it live and with 30 seconds remaining, i still thought omega was going to win for sure. but i'm an optimist. kushida/takahashi 1 was my moty before but watching kenny/omega 2 was one of my favorite wrestling experiences in years.

as someone who is planning on going, the announced stuff for g1 in long beach really bums me out.
