That is really awesome you are doing this Bloodborne LP. I must say in all honesty Bloodborne was my first game that I played from FromSoftware. Ever since playing it I have been hooked and couldn't wait to play dark souls 3. I never have played the older souls games but really want to. I will keep an eye out as you continue to do this series!

 It's the start of a new session, and with that comes a change in both character and weapon. I've switched over to the Threaded Cane because I was told it's lets me be a Belmont and I'm a sucker for Classicvania.

More on topic, that this can be the first boss in the game for players is truly brutal. Do you think From wanted to make a "trial by fire" type boss as a check of skill, or maybe have the game show how fast and frenetic fights in Bloodborne get? Both?

I think I'd agree that he does both; he's so hyper-aggressive that you really wanna be aggressive in turn and if you can't match that or figure out how to parry him, then you're hosed. He's a really cool fight and I enjoyed it a lot!

I'm pretty sure the Church Servants aren't wearing masks, their faces just look like that. Also Iosefka's Clinic is quite a nice place to go before you kill Gascoigne, because you can get a single use blood vial of much greater strength than normal. After you kill Gascoigne Iosefka stops giving you those and instead offers the safety thing.

Well, chaos argate has beaten up what basically amounts to a person in a wheelchair, by which I mean me. 30 levels below him having speedran my way all the way to where he is in the game (outside the lp) in an hour-ish, he defeated me in man-to-crippled-man combat. Thrice. He really just can't get enough of beating up cripples, that Chaos Argate. I shake my head at you. So disappointed. Just utterly crushed.

Aw, they should have let you fight the guy Friend of mine did and just kicked him off the tower first try! If you had to fight him regularly, well, you can actually get back down to the foot of the ladder within like 30 seconds. You can just run off the first building and keep rolling!
