From what I’ve seen on streams of TLOU2 there are a few PS3s lying around but no PS4s so I think canonically the world ended before PS4 released, and thus no PS5 either. Joel is innocent because his timeline never had Bugsnax

The only thing I can think of is the braindance tutorial, which seemed a bit slow, but it is a tutorial, so it's understandable that they take it a bit slow. The timeline scrubbing could have been a bit faster, though.

Not sure what else they could mean. The car repair? Which I assume is just a single cutscene and not something you will do multiple times. The hacking in the short gunplay clip was over in less than one second, so can't be that.

The last of us 2 is an astonishing achievement in video games, and the amount of bullshit going on around it is depressing and unwarranted. loving deaths threats aimed at the voice actors, what the hell

A lot of the reviewers also seemed to want to dislike the game before even playing it. They talk a lot about the crunch and poor working conditions, then immerse themselves in a hate mob who are literally threatening the people who were involved in making it. loving hypocrites. Crunch is awful and pervasive in the industry, but don't pretend to give a poo poo about these people and then go on to use bullshit reasons to criticise something that those very same people put their heart and soul into.

Call me a shill or whatever the gently caress, I'm just a bit upset that a game with such diversity comes out and then is immediately trashed for bad faith reasons. And then people ask why there's a lack of diversity in games.

gently caress gamers, basically

Yes, it is? The reasons people are criticizing the game are multiple, and the death threat people hate it for completely different reasons than people worried about crunch etc. You don't implicitly "immerse" yourself with these people simply because you are criticizing the same game.

nevermind

And apart from a small but vocal minority who hates the game just because it contains LGBT characters, every criticism that's I've seen of the game is valid to some extent.

Yeah, I love how pretty and detailed the game is, though it comes at a human cost. Photogrammetry probably makes the process of converting real life objects to game objects quicker, but I assume you still need to do some hours of work to clean up the model and in this case, remove all branding.

That's how you get statements like Escobarbarian saying he distrusts anybody who doesn't like The Last Jedi, as if this could possibly be any reasonable measure of a person.

ymgve

These are the reasons idiots hate TLOU2:

- They hate Abby because she is trans and thus it is a symptom of SJWs invading game studios and destroying "western civilization". This is canonically wrong, Abby is never mentioned as being trans, and all this is based on a pre-release leak that claimed so.
- They hate Abby because she is secretly trans, thus it is a symptom of SJWs invading game studios. Because no "real woman" could have muscles and be a bad-rear end like her, in their eyes.
- They hate Abby because she killed their BFF and daddy Joel, even though she had good reason to since in the past Joel destroyed Abby's life.

You might see that there is some kind of trend in this.

(There are various legit criticisms of the game, but those are not coming from the review bombing 4channers that hate it so much)
