How nice of Sony to give us a pro boost but also gently caress up the pause/resume function in the same update. For me at least, pausing downloads resets the progress and l have to redo them.

Yup, quality and quantity of games at launch are not important factors, it's important to relay the correct message through naming conventions and building hype. I'm remembering the PS2 launch games back then, they were all awful, and it still sold like hotcakes.
