I was sleeping last night and having a dream. I don't remember what was going on, I was just in a room. Then someone in my dream came over and put a sheet over me and held me down. I could feel the force holding me down and I couldn't get up. I was gonna suffocate. I tried yelling "what the f*ck" and I tried getting up but I couldn't move or wake up. This went on for several seconds idk how long but eventually I woke up and found myself frightened but alive in bed.
I think a demon was trying to kill me and it can only reach me in my dreams. Now I can't go to sleep again.

And then some helpful guy came along and started attacking the demon with some of my sheets. Then i woke up, still alive and a bed.

That's called sleep paralysis, it used to happen to me all the time, usually when I slept in weird places or stayed up way too late.

sleep paralysis is pretty terrifying. if it's really bothering you or happens several nights in a row, make an appointment with your primary care physician to talk about it, because it can sometimes be linked to sleep apnea, diet/hormone changes, etc., and it's always good to check in especially if you're anxious about it. i hope you get some relief soon, friend!

If you had even a mild cardiac event you need to get examined by a cardiologist. A heart attack isn't something that just happens and if you survived, it's done with: You probably have permanent damage to the tissue and there may be important, effective medicine that will help you not suddenly die. Having had one heart attack, going untreated is loving suicidal. Don't do that poo poo.
There are options for people that don't have a ton of money and still need medical care. Urgent care is generally far cheaper than the emergency room, just pick one in a bigger medical facility and there's a chance they might have a specialist that can look at your heart. They'll invoice you, they'll even work with you for payment plans. There's also specialized credit lines that will be issued basically no matter what your credit is for medical care, that could cover thousands and give you a payment plan to pay a little per month.
And being scared the doctor will tell you to live healthier? What the hell dude, he's a guy you are paying to look you over. If you really don't like his advice, you can just say 'nah'. You should be scared of loving suffering brain damage or a pulmonary embolism or something that paralyzes you and even being too weak to reach the phone to call 911 during your next cardiac event and just laying there knowing you're gonna die. The thought that you sat there unwilling to call emergency services because they might send you a piece of paper and the cost would be too high is staggering to me. Like, who gives a poo poo, if you're still alive you could just loving default and wait until the debt is sold off and your credit destroyed and then pay it off for pennies on the dollar years down the line, or loving declare bankruptcy. You got tons of options. It sucks, but it's much better than being dead.

Probably, like once a year to a PCP
Do NOT confuse "seeing the doctor" with "dreaming about the demon dressed as a doctor" though, it is a common and costly mistake
