I’ve never been “into” lobster but drat, I want one.

Yup. Lobster roll.

If you’ve never had a lobster roll, you’ll probably be real disappointed the first time you order one out. You’re going to expect quite a sandwich for $20, and it usually won’t be any bigger than a hotdog bun. The ones you make yourself are so much more satisfying.

I’ve lived in New England my whole life, so lobster is just sort of a thing. But I only eat it at home for the most part. It’s way too easy to cook yourself, for 1/3 the price.

This case of an intraperitoneal zucchini is unusual, and does raise questions as to how hard one has to push a blunt vegetable to perforate the rectum.

I only have excellent ideas

Very, very hot and muggy tonight so I was in the mood for something crisp and light. Here's a little green curry with very basic tofu and a bunch of veggies-- citrusy, a little spicy, very fresh and nice.

Would eat those stewed clothes.

Had a pretty good day yesterday, so felt like making something nice and simple to celebrate after work.

Grilled halves of king oyster mushroom, herb and panko crumb, on mascarpone and mushroom macaroni. Finished with a twist of chilli flakes and the pasta tossed through with parsley and cracked black pepper.

I drove by a local fishmonger selling lobster for $5.99/lb today. I think I'll have to make my first ever lobster roll. I'm a new england native and live near the coast in nh now, but when I cook lobster, it has always been just lobster and sides. I've only ever ordered lobster rolls because i couldn't be bothered to steam a lobster and not devour it immediately lol. maybe I'll dispatch an extra couple lobsters next time and have lobster rolls as a "leftover"

My grocery store sometimes sells steamed and chilled lobsters next to the still living ones. If I’m feeling lobster rolls, sometimes I’ll just grab one or two of those for $5-$6 each. Takes no time to pull the meat out.

Yesterday I decided to make chickencheese for dinner tonight in remembrance of the forums. After tonight’s news it is now a chickencheese of celebration.

I made two of these and my wife and I split one. Pickle-brined chicken tenders, peps, onions, mozzarella, and my homemade Chick-Fil-A sauce.

Yeah, that's a good idea too. I'm pretty sure my local hannaford steams em for free, so if they dont have chilled ones, at least wont have to set up my steaming stuff and try to resist drawing some butter

langoustine poached in dashi (cheated and used hondashi)

chard, watercress, lettuce, microgreens

yuzu vinaigrette with chilli pepper (couldn't find yuzu or yuzu juice )
