Good op, go Crows, I hope Charlie Cameron, who is the best and my favourite, kicks all the goals and wins the Coleman medal and stuff. Also go the other Crows, I hope Chelsea Randall does the same thing with the kicking of all the goals, because I decided preseason that she was my favourite.

Just got to watch the replay of Crows vs GWS and early indicators are that I am good at picking favourite players IMO. And I guess being an actual professional athlete in another sport already gives a bit of a leg up. Start poaching more WNBA players IMO, AFLW.

Question: for the AFLW teams, 9000 was described as being a pretty good crowd. (And it was probably a bigger crowd than, for example, GWS had in some of its year one matches.) How big do we reckon crowds will eventually get? Will it be big enough to warrant maybe using actual AFL ovals? And if not, would there maybe be room to expand AFLW into states that don't have AFL sides due to smaller populations? Like for example, one suggested reason Tassie doesn't have an AFL team has been that they have a relatively small population split up between Launceston and Hobart, but if they're not aiming for the 50,000 or so strong crowds that you get in the AFL, could Tassie sustain an AFLW team just as easily as one of the bigger states does?
