My bird skull mold arrived along with the “glowing the dark” dye, 3 bottles of “macaron” series resin dye. All of the dyes are are great with two part resin. The sparkly pigment is okay, but it kinda looks a little...teenagery(?) to me. Granted, I have no loving clue what I wanna do with a bunch of resin bird skulls anyway. I’m having an allergic reaction to one of the uv resins, (bird skulls are two part, not in) which is absolutely my fault since I have rubber gloves, I just forget to use them. It’s still not quite as awful as the reaction I started having to the pretty nail polishes from born pretty.

If you don't have a floor drain you are stuck with buckets, hoses, or siphons and it's going to be a lot of bother and probably not something you'll do often. Our bathroom is functional but ugly and we don't have a tub. If we renovated it, we'd have to spend about 25k€, which is a bad deal considering that we are low-key considering moving in the next few years. So, baby tub it is.

Yeah you pour hot water into it, like in a regular tub. The lid turns it into a lovely sauna. But it keeps the temperature surprisingly well. I guess you put in some of the Chinese heating elements you can buy online if you have a death wish. Like, they're literally just partially exposed wires that are directly connected into your wall socket, so you better don't get too close.

Yeah the RG350 specifically is all about open source/community/hobbyist shenanigans, I'm not an expert but look at this giant wall of post. The downside to the RG350 and its many clones and variants is that the hardware is pretty weak compared to Android stuff based on modern SoCs so you're not going to be running Gamecube games on it or anything.

I finally got the necklace I ordered from Aliexpress on the last week of February -- and which was actually refunded a few weeks ago because it was presumed to be lost forever. I tried to contact the seller to see if I could pay them again, but it seems they've taken down their store sometime since. And of course Aliexpress wouldn't be Aliexpress without some last moment fuckery. I ordered my necklace with a leather string, instead I got a tiny little plastic rope with a very cheap feeling bit of chain connecting the two ends together, guaranteeing the thing won't even fit around an adult's neck, and the chain would probably break in 5 minutes anyway. What a bizarre experience altogether.

I had the same kind of thing happen a few years ago. I ordered a USB displayless oscilloscope and after a few months of not receiving it and the tracking number showing no updates in weeks, I got a refund from the seller. I only emailed them one time about the product and they refunded right away. 2 weeks later the oscilloscope shows up. 3 days after that, a second one also shows up. I went back to offer to pay for one or both of them, but the sellers store was gone.

My fancy fake sakura Lego arrived today after only three weeks! Not bad. (That link goes to a different seller; mine apparently no longer offers that set.) It's intimidating, but I look forward to futzing with it. That leaves 13 orders still to be delivered. I can't wait. I'm still eyeing the Bluedio T7s, but after wearing that style of headphone (albeit lovely ones) for a full day of work, my ears were sore af.

i was shopping for notebooks and it seems like a popular solution on aliexpress is these blinged-out transparent binders that come in standard sizes and have many different types of planner sheet readily available as refills and this honestly hits just the right balance between my desire for a pre-made day planner and how dang cute a fully filled out bullet journal is (without being a giant 3-ring binder full of print-outs from my inkjet)

Haven't had to go to arbitration in a LONG time with Aliexpress, but thankfully I do test things I buy properly. The PS4 USB hub thingo was only running at USB 1.0 speeds on the USB 2.0 ports. The USB 3.0 port was passthrough so fine. It took a video showing me install PKG files from all ports, and without hub on but I was doing that anyway for review purposes!

There's a paper out there with a model you can use to determine how many treatments it'll take to remove a tattoo. Arms are a particularly bad location due to poor circulation, like adding 4-8 treatments. When I'm not on my phone, I'll try and remember to dig it up.

I think the general consensus on knock off lego is that it is about 90% of the quality of genuine Lego. The clutch can be a little random, but it's otherwise fine. The only thing I can compare it too is my memory of a Megabloks set 20 years ago where the clutch was either too tight to fit together or too loose to stay together this making building the model nearly impossible, and the recent Chinese knock offs are NOT that bad. Clutch on modern Lepin is almost as good as Lego but you will notice a little difference if your used to the real thing. I would totally buy more Lepin but I'm just kinda getting out of Lego, and I don't want to accidentally mix Lepin into my genuine, pure The knock off minifigs on the other hand are pretty hit or miss, I have some that are incredible and others that are disgraceful. If it helps any, the good ones I have are knock offs of official Lego figures, the crappy ones are generic construction worker figs, I would trust a Lepin "Darth Vader" to be decent but not a no name minifig.
