Anyone have a suggestion for something like a rubber tire wrap?
I got a second hand powerwheels, but the tires are plastic and the traction is all worn down, so they tend to spin. These look pretty similar:

I tried to use heavy rubber bands, but they broke off pretty quickly. The wheels can't be replaced either because they have shapes that kind of snap together into the axle.

One method is to get some cheap mountain bike tires, cut the sidewalls off then take the tread section and wrap it around the outside of the old wheel, cut it to length then attach the tread section onto the outside of the wheel with wood screws,

If that does not work out it looks like you can get adapters to fit new wheels on Ali https://www.aliexpress.com/item/329...847433465%22%7D

Gas irons generally aren't great for anything beyond the odd field repair where the portability is useful.
I got a 90 watt PX-988 from ali a while ago and it's been pretty solid little iron, it can take a large variety of tips the heating element is replaceable and it has reasonable temperature control
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100...380248791%21sea
Keep in mind that if you are planning on using lead free solder you will want iron coated tips since plain copper ones will get eaten up by alloying with the solder.

I have yet to encounter a plug adapter that wasn't dodgy as poo poo, if your device has a standard IEC cable you can just buy a new cable with the appropriate plug on the end.

Those integrated tips work great it's just a shame that you can't buy a big variety pack to see what you like without having to fork out a couple of hundred bucks.

Looks like in-store at Walmart and Home Depot is closer to $100.

You might want to add how much weight you are planning to put on it, the one you linked to on ali only looks strong enough for displaying a few gundams and nothing else. If you need strong shelves search around the second hand market you can sometimes find old store racking being sold off for cheap.

My electric water bottles arrived, after filling one up and replacing the flex on the charging plug it came with it warmed up quite nicely. Even though you are not supposed to use it while plugged in I was curious about the potential for capacitive coupling so I placed it on a metal plate while it was heating and got about 50 volts on the meter between the plate and ground and no measurable amperage at least as far as my multimeter can detect, overall I am quite happy with it.
