 The village was nice, in that quaint sort of, everyday farmer sort of way. That was alright... but it needed more. How was an ambush preditor supposed to hunt if they prey could just walk up the centre away from all the nooks and crannies? Ugh, this would not do! First things first! They'd need to redisign and rebuild. Blocking on areas and building new bridges and walkways. Forcing attacking parties to bottle neck into a maze of pathways. Especally if there were ways for Mimi to scamper around unseen and get to her next attack point! Then they'd need to hide the entrance. Some kind of ilusionary wall would do for now, at least until they could come up with something a bit more permanent. The mobs around the place could help with building, but they'd also need to be able to live in this area. Hidden rooms with living accommodations perhaps? She'd need to consult them for their needs. Obviously they'd need to be able to live a normal life, and only fall back to defensive structures should the place be attacked. Well, Mimi knew all about hiding in plain sight. Maybe she could ask Blackbone about underground tunnels to move from place to place. If the mobs could join in on the ambush fun it would really slow the enemy down, they'd certainly be a lot less willing to run straight in if they could be attacked from anywhere! That would also give everyone else time to prepare their own defence. Some kind of warning sign.... oh the village bell! Yeah, that would be good! What else... traps? could be risky for the mobs. Hmmmm... she looked at her underlings. Most looked like normal every day people. But there were the Spiders to consider as well. They were about the size of a dog. But they moved quick and could paralyse with a bite. They'd be able to get around pretty well. "Hey, any ideas on how we can make this place defendable?" She asked, patting the spider lightly on the head. "Keeeeee?" It considered the question. "Trapdoorsssss anddd, murderrrr holessssss. Websssss toooo catchhhhh. Websssss innnn woodsssss woulddddd warnnnn offffff threatsssss." Mimi nodded, thoughtfully. "Alright, I'll make sure to mention it to Master. Thanks." She looked back to the mighty clock tower. Time to make her way over. Master must be so lonely without her! Mimi to the rescue! She scampered over to the tower. This was her special entry point. But she'd have to be quick. She formed into a spider herself, and skittered up the tower walls. Worming her way between the stonework and onto the inside. Ahh, the archives. This was where she'd penetrated originally when scouting the dungeon out. From here it was just a hop skip and a jump to the Master's chambers. She paused briefly, to pull some books out of the shelf, and crawl through into a little hidey hole she'd found during her original scouting. It was here that she'd placed something. Something which would clearly wow Master. A rare piece of equipment that dropped from one of the original encounters when she mapped out the dungeon.  Truly a staff worthy of an overlord! It's archane enhancing abilities and imposing appearance would be perfect for striking fear into the Master's enemies! And then there was the pet!  The King of Ravens, a inteligent pet that would match the Master's dark and mysterious appearance with a touch of royalty. Tucking the staff under her arm (so as to not get spit all over it) and holding the bird carefully in her hands. Mimi skipped happily up towards Master's throne room. Mimi bows low, adding an extra swoosh of the hands. "Now for my report. The Village as it is right now lacks defensive options. However, with your permission I would like to convert back areas into bottlenecks where your minions might better ambush the enemy, as well as give us ways to move through the area unseen to better set up further ambushes. This would still leave areas liveable for the mobs. But would give us plenty of ways to bring down unwary adventurers, and slow the wary down considerably." Mimi smiled. It stretched a little too far across her face. "I would also like to ask for Blackbone's advice on setting up tunnels to allow your troops ease movement within the village itself. As to the front, we could present a normal village, complete with traders and farms. That way we can continue to add to the treasury, and send away or lure in visitors depending on our needs."

Golden Rabbits huh? Well, if she could bring back one of those then that would show that idiotic dragon wanna-be her place. Did she even hear herself? Well it would be funny to watch her get taken out by bears. But it probably wouldn't help them succeed in this mission. Maybe some other time. But anyway, while the muscle harvested the bears. She could focus on catching this wraskly wabbit. Now theoretically she could turn a part of her into a cage, but the big risk would be biting down on it. Traditionally Mimics were designed to bite and ambush. But that was because the prey struggled. But that can be overcome. Being ambush predators food might not wander by for weeks. Mimics had evolved a method to store subdued living food to consume later on. And once they'd learned about the sentient races desire for loot, a verity of objects and valuables inside themselves to act as bait. It was this trait that first lead to people trying to tame them and store their treasures inside of them. With mixed success. First things first, Golden Rabbits were a cowardly buncha critters, even for Rabbits. They ran and hide at the first sign of danger. But they kick pretty hard. Leaves tracks, and tracks to their hiding spot at that! - - - I'm going to Cleverly Create an Advantage by analysing our environment to look for signs of the Golden Rabbits. Tiny things, but the marks were there if you knew what to look for. They were leading over that way. The bunnies must have bolted the first time they heard their group approaching. Which means their burrow wouldn't be too far. This might be easier then she thought! Her ears perked up when Missile started barking. What was that? Skeleton Imps? Oh great! That was going to make things fun! "Hmmm, guess we'll have to be careful to not create too deep a pit. Unless we could drop the bears down there and try and pick up the items beyond. But that might be more trouble then it's worth. I'm fine with the plan otherwise. But if Newbee wants to get eaten by bears she's more then welcome to." Mimi was already in the middle of spreading her traps. Off to the side, just like they planned. So the group could guide the bears into her kill zone. Easy stuff. Step on the pad, get eaten. Like a bear trap, but bigger. and toothiy-er. She'd just finished settling down into her form, laying out the last of her very much extended body, when there came the sound of a lot of very angry bears pelting towards her. Final result 5 - - - Mimi darted for the safety of the massive Ork so she could scatter her form into insects. She was going to run full pelt to the traps. Hopefully even catch a few of these bears and slow their charge. The hard part? Not getting stepped on! She darted through a forrest of legs to safety. She activated the first trap! It slammed shut loudly. Enough to startle the bears. Good, that should give them some breathing room! She was going to have to dunk that Dragon's head into dung when they got home. Maybe even take that stupid ribbon she was so proud of. Ugh, that idiot!

Animals hated fire. It was a well known fact. Nothing liked being on fire. Fate points 2/3 Mimi watched as the lich launched himself at the spell caster. Ooooh, bad choice. Okay, she had no way of knowing ahead of time that being an obvious caster in front of Blackbone was a death sentence, but it was her own fault. Clearly. Then Newbee also joined in, it was rather unnecessary, Blackbone didn't need the help. But whatever, maybe he'd catch her with a back swing and knock her out or something. Now THAT would be funny! She glanced over to where the Baron was taking his opponent apart bit by bit. Gosh, who'd would have thought that challenging someone to a one on one duel was a bad idea. She reshaped herself to the girls measurements. Hmmm, it would be a little flashy. But that kimono would be quite a nice prize. "Hey Baron! Try not to ruin her dress too badly! It would look pretty good on me! Hehehehe." she called out. More to make the adventurer a little bit more fearful then anything else.

Fate points 2/3 How rude! Ignoring a Mimic is a sure way to lose a finger. Hmm, not that Mimi would want one of her nasty fingers. She probably tastes terrible. The words of the mage, Lilly reach her ears. "Not good with scary things" She said. Ha, well Mimi was probably her worst nightmare! Then another sounds reaches her ears. It's Newbee Crying. Mimi feels a rush of satisfaction, 'yeah! Take that you overblown lizar....' the crying continued. The pitiful sobs of someone deeply hurt. Mimi felt a twinge of guilt. Which she tried to smush deep down inside. But she couldn't help but see Newbee flailing weakly. She shifted from foot to foot. Trying to ignore the sound. "Ahhhhhhhh!" she groaned. Then rushed at the mage. Shifting her body into all kinds of horrible forms. "Look out Newbee! SHE'S TRYING TO STEAL YOUR RIBBONS!!!" she yelled in warning. It was a total lie, but Mimi was very good at faking things. Diving over Newbee, she gave the ribbon a little tug (to fake the stealing attempt she was 'foiling'), and pushing her (gently) back, 'away' from the attempted theft! Then? Then she just got to gribbling all over the trapped mage. Especially all over her face. Just you try and talk when you've got The Thing trying to give you a kiss! Yeah, it wasn't the most dangerous attack. But it was all about the effect. It was scary and sudden and all in your face! She made a mouth on the other side of her head, so she could yell at Newbee some more. Partly because yelling at her made Mimi feel better, but also to try and get her head back into the game. Fate points 2/3 "Not a bad little haul." Mimi said, scooping stuff into her vast cavernous maw, including the Kemono (though that she placed carefully). Made things a lot easier then carrying them. "Ohhh, carrots! Super tasty!" She riffled a little further. Ohhh, scrolls! Those will be super useful for the Mistress! Nice, nice! That pair were going to be pissed at all the loot they'd just nabbed! Maybe Mimi would even leave some of it out, lure them in and bite their legs off. Hehehehe. Newbee seemed very proud of her terrible dress, not a surprise, she did have terrible taste. Undoubtedly the thing would get torn to ribbons first time she tried to fight in it. But that was nether here nor there. She was just relieved the overgrown lizard had stopped sobbing. Mimi didn't really know how she felt about it all. Was it some kind of irritation that had made her try to stop the dragon crying? Or had she done it because she didn't like seeing Newbee cry? She didn't know, and it annoyed her. Did she hate the dragon because she egotistically jostled with her for the top spot? (When Mimi was obviously already the winner) Or was it because she felt physically threatened by what she would one day become? Ugh, these questions were just complicated and messy. What she really needed right now, was to eat something.

Fate points 2/3 The party was lovely. Charming even. With a subtle undercurrent of violence. Or was that violins? Hard to say, to Mimi, both of them sounded like screaming. Mimi knew a little bit about this place. And was pretty sure that once they sorted out that orchestra, they'd have to go to the basement for some refreshments. And while they were down there, tangle with the Wine Seller  A mimic that got drunk on all the wine, it's disguise is terrible, but it's size is huge and it doesn't feel much pain. It was far to drunk to shape shift adiquately, but it hunted by attacking with the near limitless alcohol it held. Stupifying it's prey and pickling them in spirits.

Fate points 3/3 Mimi was content to let Newbee take the brunt of the attack and the focus. Because it gave her a wonderful distraction while she sneaked forward to get behind the enemy. This was what she was best at, infiltration and sneak attacks. She scurried forward along the edge of the chamber a ground swarm of fast moving beetles. Swerving around to come from behind one of the spell casters, gathering together while they were rocked by Newbee's trash mob missile. Taking this opertunity to do what she was made for. Only with significantly more teeth and curiously the same amount of giggling. Enveloping the mage down to his hips, and snapping down with enough force to shatter metal, stone, bone, and in this case, Wizard. "Raw" Mimi said. Raising her arms in a spooky fashion. Her 'shadow' erupted from the floor beneath the other mages. Like Shark jaws. Snapping shut and sinking back into the floor. It was one of her special moves. 'Raw' a deadly aoe attack, rising a number of her mouths from the floor to eat the unwary. Massive damage, and she automatically stripped them of whatever loot they were carrying. In theory, her limbs will get pulled into the bad dragons, and they will die. Plus, she'll look all gross. Clearly the spell came from Mimi, and obviously it'll be clear that Mimi deserves ALL of the praise! "Newbee! Try now! You'll have a much easier chance to hit them! Even if you can't see them through the smoke! You can thank me later!"

It was simply a matter of which one of them were stronger, and Mimi (as much as she would never admit it out loud) knew the answer to that question. The webs groaned under the strain for but a second. The dragon's claws waving in the air in front of Mimi's face. A slight moment of wondering if she'd miscalculated, and then *SPROING!* The Whelps were flung backwards by the elasticity of the webs, and dragged along in Newbee's wake. Ha, suckers. Although the thought crossed her mind that something was wrong as she looked towards where Newbee was going... Hands grabbed their mouths, forcing them wide open. Then a secondary spell spat a jet of water over both of them, splashing it into their mouths. Then her last spell came from her main mouth. A lightning bolt. Charged with wrath, and powered by rage. The lightning ripped through the air, and hit the struggling pair of dragon. Soaked as they were with water, both inside and out, the surge fried the both of them. The webs set aflame, dropping the charred whelps to the cold stone floor. Mimi stood there, panting. She didn't feel better. Not even slightly. But she took a shaky calming breath. Her throat felt raw from the flux of magic she'd just employed.

Even so, it was over now, and that was all that mattered. Mimi looked to her injury, a bruise, but it was probably the worst injury she'd had since she'd been created. Clearly this meant she needed pats, and comforting. Clearly. That wasn't going to happen though. Instead they got a new sister. Mimi, knew all kinds of things about Naga! She knew about everything. She was expecting something... cold. Disinterested. Another arse head unable to appreciate her gifts. Then Coral slithered up to her. Coral posted:"Beautiful" Mimi went very still... she went red. Not just her cheeks. But her whole body. A subtle crimson. She slowly reached out a hand, hovering for just a few moments. Before gently patting the Naga on the head. Her voice came back strained.
