Everyone is whining since Triple H keeps saying “Roman is a different kind of heel”. They didn’t have to let him out at the number 30 spot in the Rumble, but they did. They didn’t have to have him eliminate The Undertaker, but they did. They didn’t have to pit him against Undertaker at Wrestlemania, but they did. They didn’t have to put that match on last, making him Main Event Wrestlemania 3 times in a row, but they did. They didn’t have to have him be the one to retire The Undertaker, but they did. Everything they’re doing is only making people boo him more and more, and with kayfabe so frail as it is, this may be one of the best ways to get a pure negative reaction. It’s like a Meta-Heel, and every time people boo and comment about Roman on posts and etc, it only plays right into their hands. In a way, it’s genius, a new way to elicit the classic heel reaction in a new times.
