Reinstalling the game worked, I can finally get through the goddamn mission. It's not bugged to go to the infinite loading screen if you finish in Slugger/Legend style, is it? My victory over Pocket Circuit Fighter in 0 was incredibly anticlimactic because he wiped out really early in the race, before he even finished one lap, and I just cruised through the rest.

Obviously that doesn't work with the Majima Everywhere system, so Kiwami just has him recover instantly and adds in something to facilitate Majima suddenly showing up bandaged.

I was really into Slugger style when I first got it, but then I found out how much fun Breaker's crowd control was, so I switched to that for my main style. Mad Dog style's good fun too with its hit and run shenanigans.

Going from Kiwami -> 0 just makes their friendship all the more tragic because you know how it all falls out and seeing what they would've done for each other in 0 is just heartwrenching. Then Nishiki's "Don't cross that line, you'll never come back if you do!" from the ending was just like a kick to the gut.

Game has like 17-18 chapters so you're still a ways off. Slugger is slow, but its probably Majima's best style because it hits so hard, it hits a huge range, and he's got so much super armor in it.

Majima will become available again in Chapter 8, at which point you can get him up another rank before he takes another break for 2 chapters. I highly recommend you go do Komaki's training up to the point where you meet Hannya-Man though, once you hit Chapter 8. That one requires Majima to be actively out and about, so if he's on break, Komaki's training is also halted. One of their localization guys discussed that for 6 actually. They got a lot of complaints that they translated "aniki" wrong in 0 or Kiwami or something and that they should've just left it as-is, so I think that's where they're going, moving forward.

So I basically marathoned the cabaret club minigame as soon as it was available, but the game put me on a hard stop right after I unlocked the ability to challenge the Millionaire League champ until I get past some point in the plot. Anyone know what that point is?
