Heads up, next session I will be in Dover, UK. Attendance hinges on being able to find some wifi and a place to game. I'm probably not going to be able to see the maps, either. If I can't make it, assume Bastion lost the key to his Pain Glove and is waiting for the Techmarines to forge a new one.

I think most of the Relics require you to be at least Distinguished or Famed. I don't have much to buy - if noone else needs my points, I'll take this moment to pick up some cybernetics. I'm thinking about picking up an Exceptional Auger Array and an Exceptional MIU, maybe an Exceptional Bionic Heart so that I can Sprint. Any of the Imperial Assets look good? Not sending any dudes into the TOP SECRET INQUISITION COMPLEX to steal our glory, but might want to set aside some Requisition for Close Air Support (20 points per flight of 1d5+1 Thunderbolts) to chase off those pesky Fighta-Bombas. So far, 22.5 Exceptional Augur Array 22.5 Exceptional MIU 22.5 Exceptional Bionic Heart 67.5/100 It's out of character, but I'm going to have to skip the Pain Glove for this mission. I guess Bastion will just have to content himself with headbutting the training servitors on the way over.

Okay, I took Divination, to help track down the Warsmith, I took Hatred (Traitor Legions) and Forbidden Lore (Traitor Legions)+20 for ridiculously cheap from the Imperial Fists advances, and then a little boost to Willpower and Weapon Skill. I have added the Warsmith to the Book of Grudges.

Got to go to the library, the Blood Angels nerd got his arm blown off by a booby trapped book, and we beat the crap out of a horde of heretics. Ate some brains, tracked down their hideout and found out that they don't know where the grave is hidden, so their plan B is to kick off a war and see if the archaeotech strangeness goes off. A bunch of sentinels showed up, and I got to go all Revengeance of one of them!

Well, we haven't had the opportunity to use a boarding torpedo lately. Foil his plans on the planet, pursue him to his ship and blow him up. Blow up the ship, too. Maybe surf back down to the planet aboard the wreckage. Hope everyone remembers to wear their helmet or use their third lung. Bastion's interrogation style, where he just negs the subject into bragging about their secrets, is called "pride and ego down" by the US Army. I don't think the Army has a term for cracking open someone's skull and sucking out the delicious knowledge inside. Since I don't have the Interrogate skill, I think this just Bastion being Bastion.

Welp, spent 1000XP and got a Familiar Servo Skull. A relic of some grumpy librarian. "I'm too old for this poo poo." Boosted Willpower and Weapons Skill, and got Probability Shield, to boost the Kill Team. Requisitioned a Psychic Hood and my usual Force Sword - 10 points left if anyone needs it, or alternatively if anyone has spare points left over I upgrading to a Master Force Sword costs 25 points. I imagine the Imperial Fists version of the Psychic Hood looks like a little castle, maybe like a Mural Crown. "No such thing as too fortified." I'm cool with that, though you have the Bolter special ability, instead of the one that lets you use Chapter Squad modes on everyone. Go with Oath to the Emperor, I guess. Storm Shields are always fun. Especially if you combine them with that Storm Bolter of yours, SWAT style. They're 35 requisition. A Motion Predictor makes you even more likely to hit. 20 requisition. Cybernetics are nice because they're permanent.

Yeah, I don't know if there is an official policy for this kind of thing - it's probably a rare enough event that there's not a ton of precedent It's a good conundrum - if it can be used, it's valuable enough to hurl wave after wave of Marines to retrieve. If. And by the same token we absolutely cannot let the Traitor Legions reclaim it. I suggest we tape all our spare grenades to the caskets so we can make sure they're destroyed rather than captured. The caskets aren't really mobile, are they? I guess we camp out until the Inquisitor can send in a retrieval team or we're able to start the ship up and drive it back to the Watch Fortress. Time to fortify this area against the worst that the Traitors and the Hulk itself can hurl at us.
