So if you stole the baby does it permanently use up a party slot? (At least until you find a nice altar to sacrifice it on)

Will the Od Nua statue be a bust or a full little dude. Is there a mock up for them yet?

If it's a full body statue Obsidian might get a lot of money from me but the icon on the Fig page is just a bust.

No mock-up yet, but it's coming soon. It's pretty cool IMO.
I don't believe we've decided on this yet. I don't have a strong opinion on it.
Looking forward to this either way..

Did Obsidian elaborate on the Od Nua statue option yet?

I think I remember Ropekid saying they were going to tell us more about it at some point... I just want a reason to give them more money.

Does any of the tiers include the DLC pack by default or is it an add-on for everyone?

Wasn't a big part of the point of kickstarter so that Obsidian wouldn't have to deal with dogshit publishers being dogshit? It's not like this should be a surprise to anyone anyway, this is Paradox the company which is notorious for keeping prices high for their copious amounts of DLC years after release (like if you wanted to buy say EU4, a game that's been out for like 4 years, with all the DLC outside of a sale it would probably run you something like $200 lmao).

I think for both physical distribution and to bypass Steam Greenlight etc. they partnered with Paradox as a distributor still... Don't know how much funding they put into the actual development etc.

Might be wrong, just my hazy memory.

Wizards are all per-rest, though you can just memorize all nukes and use them that way. Or I guess build them as wand specialists with Blast.

Just a note here, at high levels lower level Wiz spells turn into per encounter instead... I don't remember the specific break points for this but it's a nice touch.

I don't know if it supports custom assets at this point. I've tried a few different paths :(

that was pretty easy

You are doing good things, keep doing them.

I'm not sure at what point I need to cut myself off from this thread to stay relatively spoiler proof especially if people do start digging down into what game files are available as part of the (relatively spoiler free) beta, I do have beta access and did install it but hesitant to even play through it for fear of ruining my expectations with bugs despite knowing it's just the beta version.

1. an overwrite folder system similar to the witcher 3, where you can just chuck assets in it and it'll either overwrite existing assets (similar to loading loose files vs. bsa's in gamebryo) or let you use new ones you put in there. Overwriting your base files works but is very very sloppy.

Do you forget what thread this is? You mean an override folder like Baldur's Gate!

Ahhh - That's too soon, I'm not sure if I can finish up what I'm playing at the moment and fit in a full Pillars playthrough before then.

I'm about to finish WM1 and trying to figure out who my canonical party is going to be for this 'final run'.

Myself (Wizard), Eder, Pallegina, Kana, Sagani... And one of the WM companions, I'm leaning towards Maneha even though Zahua's character sheet of damage done while in the party shows him doing a poo poo ton more damage? I think once I get some Superb weapons that'll swing the other way.

It's a pretty melee heavy party but between Kana and Aura buffs my party stays up and I hang back as a control mage with Sagani helping to pick off the casters and fragile threats.

Finally got a Legendary Adventure to occur but didn't get the Storied Adventurer achievement when it was completed... I guess I never got a Minor adventure at the start and now that's impossible? (Even with -6 from Hirelings I'm at 30 base prestige)

e: I do have 2 prisoners in my dungeon still so I might be able to wait for a slaver/something to get a temporary penalty - don't think I can get low enough for the number to matter though.

Are you saying you think Josh is a bit up himself?

Just finished my definitive play through of the first game, got all the ending slides I was going for, biggest thing I'm not sure about is I feel I screwed up a bit in my conversation with Iovara near the end.

Even though it wasn't 100% "perfect" for every little side quest and task - I don't think the import/decisions will be that precise.

Finally got the Explorer achievement to trigger too!

well, i beat the game again, on the difficulty below potd.

I went with Galawain's plan. Initially I intended to just send everything back to the wheel but i figured Galawain's plan was just a stop on the road back.

Also had Aloth replace Thaos. I hope that doesn't preclude him from being in the next game. If not, oh well. Eder and pallegina had solid ends.

I had forgotten how well-written if sudden the final act comes. The writing inside the final dungeon is all pretty solid and i even started getting a little bit sad/choked up having that conversation with that person from my past life, whose name i've already forgotten.

Anyway, i'm ready to fuckin play some poe 2 now. tuesday needs to loving come faster.

I'd been leaning towards Berath but went with Galawain too for my final run, one of my influences ended up being Hiravias quest - I thought it'd been pushing him towards Wael but he chose Galawain for himself and his reasoning helped me do so too.

I think the ending card for it gives the effect I was after too - just hopefully no long term effects from grafting the souls in the strengthening process.

And yeah meeting Iovara is a massive plot dump but it's a good one.
