Good to see Beterbiev out, his career has been a travesty of inactivity so far. 175 is a hot division now, and he could make some noise.

Miller weighed over 300 pounds in his last fight, and now he's turned down an IBF eliminator with Kubrat Pulev to fight a 41 year old irrelevant formerly retired former lightheavyweight in Tomasz Adamek. Smh.

It’s a fight that sells tickets, nothing more.

McGregor tweeted some bs about the '1 year anniversary of his sparring with Paulie Malignaggi' and Paulie is losing his loving mind on the Sirius XM boxing show. They totally gotta fight now.

If Conor doesnt get wiped out by Khabib (and, gently caress it, maybe even if he does) and Paulie is willing to commit to being on social media 24/7-not like he really has much else to do- then I honestly think they would get around 1.1-1.3 million.

If Paulie were to legit fight him, I wonder how fast he would wipe him out. Gotta figure, Floyd carried it for 10 rounds just for the hell of it. I wonder if he would go in there just trying to drop his rear end. Honestly, if that were the case, I wouldn't be shocked if he got dropped too.

Still though, I'd say 5 rounds.

I don't think it's even possible for paulie to hurt mcgregor at this stage of his career.

E: Remember that time Paulie hurt a guy and even he was surprised?

Also nobody would watch a fight between McGregor and Malignaggi, a guy who wasn't even that popular when he was at his peak and is now retired and washed.

I would expect 200k just from McGregor fans. Whether he can make it enough of a spectacle to pull in any super casual boxing fans, who knows.

Exactly. Fury confronting Wilder after the Artie Szpilka fight is the best in ring trash talk I can remember. The build up will be massive and I think it will do around 500k buys in the us and and a really big number in the UK as well which ends up being crazy profitable considered both are supposedly slated to make around 12-13 million.

The fact that it's on showtime gives me hope for a good undercard. I hope they target the recently announced Gervonta Davis-Abner Mares as the cofeature.

"Patel"? Fuck you.
I like Bryant Jennings a lot as a personality, but getting dropped and hurt by Alex Dimitrenko is a pretty bad sign for his future viability, and I think it proves that he's pretty chinny at this point in his career. I also don't think I've ever seen a quicker stoppage; the ref was basically waving it off before he even saw Dimitrenko fully fall to the canvas or even fully react to the punch, really. Disgraceful.

Jennings is a decent fighter with I guess one more run in him, but I wouldn't be surprised if he lost before he got another title shot, and he definitely loses to Joshua, Wilder, Fury, and Povetkin. He'd also be the underdog to Whyte, Parker, Miller, Pulev, and probably Chisora. Wouldn't mind seeing him against Breazeale next, not exactly sure who should be favoured in that one.

No. Wilder has a right hand and that's it. also consider that old man Klitschko (famed for his red right hand) also had every other punch you can think of, and Fury still handled him.

Fury v Joshua I'm not so sure about. Fury is just so goddam goofy in there it's hard to predict what the fight would look like. Joshua did hit the deck against Klitschko, but then AJ came back and beat him like fuckin drum, so I don't even know.

Fury also got dropped by old cruiserweight Steve Cunningham, and Wilder can 1 shot anyone, so Fury beating Wilder is not a foregone conclusion whatsoever.
