I bought a DOA once, I think 2 for the PS2, because I enjoyed Tekken 3 and wanted to try some more 3D fighting games. I had more fun with the other 3D fighting game I got nobody ever talks about, Bloody Roar 3, which I hated because of the final boss who I swear was a dirty cheat. I don't think I even played DOA 2 enough to reach the final story mode boss.

The beta had a bug where pressing any button on the launcher caused the game to uninstall itself and force you to download the 50GB client again. I know it's a beta, but how does something like that get sent to people?

Yeah, the game as is is the worst, but the DLC will more than make up for it, based on the preview snippets.

Two Brothers? I remember getting it from some bundle I think, liked the GB aethetics, then found out it was never finished before being apparently abandoned? Why refer to it in another game? Or did he go back and finish it some long rear end time after? e: IIRC it was unplayably unfinished, you couldn't really do anything

Dareon posted:Hopepunk seems tautological. Like the very essence of *-punk is that there's a core of rebels fighting against the Man to give people hope down here in the bottom of this Pandora's Box. If your punk prefix is hope, it just feels like you're smoldering with generic rebellion. Not always, in Steampunk you're the Man, with steam magitech and gears/cogs on everything.

They have a special steam subforum for "historical discussions" and as you can guess more than half the threads (only 15 in total to be fair, 2 of which at least are some dude posting in the wrong place) are Confederacy apologia.
