So I signed up to volunteer for the M4A campaign, but the only news I've received so far was that they released the campaign kits. I'm looking at the Austin chapter site (thank god they finally updated it and are including upcoming events), and they're canvassing this Sunday for M4A.

He is undocumented and could've easily been reported and deported if the cop wasn't cool about it. Now the talking on the phone is completely his fault, but you could see how interactions with the cops could have severe consequences for some people.

It's not a big deal, but since people keep countering the shirt thing: People literally asked us why we weren't all wearing shirts when we canvassed for M4A and paid-sick leave. I think it helps to have an image, especially when 90% of your members are bearded plain-clothed men who women don't want to open doors for.
