The problem I have is that even the well reasoned, well thought out arguments in favor of the purchase (which I find valid and good faith, don't get me wrong) still haven't fully convinced me of the utility of the tool over buying 150K of nth market student debt for a fraction of a dollar per and getting rid of it.

First off, what the gently caress is wrong with this thread and it's regular posters, Christ, y'all go off on some wild rear end bullshit. Second, lemon pepper wings are the real deal, and y'all missed out if you didn't have any while conning it up. Showed up Friday afternoon after everyone was already tuckered out from the earlier procedural ratfucking, had some cool convos and met some cool comrades, but afaik basically nothing of substance other than the status quo is gonna come from this con, tho I'd love (?) to be wrong on that one. So really it was mostly an excuse for everyone to play model UN/manufacture consent of sorts and drink heavily given the amount of poo poo effectively pushed to NPC. Lot of good lessons to be learned w.r.t. the power of controlling the agenda, floor, and the other surrounding powers/institutions of a Congress. Or rather, good lessons if you're a stupid newbie like myself
