Falcon's burned three flashbacks that each took most of a chapter, while Rihito's single flashback was like two pages, our boy has this in the bag I mean, come on, one of Falcon's big gimmicks is that he's supposedly super rational- you really think he's going to beat the man that surpasses human reason?

I'm actually gonna say that, rereading it, the only decision I flat-out hate so far is Medel pulling capoeira out of literally nowhere; the fight imo would have been much more interesting if they'd stuck purely to boxing (hypothetical alternate: Medel maintains a narrow upper hand at first but tries to end it quickly by breaking Gaolang's right hand with an elbow block; this backfires horribly due to GODFIST and he's forced to resort to double ring out after losing his left arm)

Biggest disappointment for me is that they made that big deal about how little techniques like pushing your opponent's knee out end up making the difference in extremely high-level matches back in Ashura and then never revisited that principle Like if Ohma had thrown Rolon's knockout blow off with that exact move, that would have been hype as poo poo, but busting out a Kure technique doesn't have the same impact
