Gaolang hasn’t had his backstory reveal yet, but so far he has been presented as a top tier fighter. If Kaneda wins it’s gotta be through some bullshit “I already know what you’re going to do” premonition. Which was foreshadowed in the fight with icy

Could be the cost that mysterious figure is alluding to is Ohma’s memories. Maybe there’s some sort of mind control / losing your mind to it aspect. Hopefully Kazzy snaps him out of it before going over the edge

That Setsuna reveal: leads me to believe there’s something wrong with the backstory we’ve been told thus far. When would Setsuna have been defeated by Ohma? Kiryu's spin technique and how he gets behind people seem pretty advanced and I don't know if you can totally copy them by just seeing it in the ring a couple times. And Gensai's hands are so well tempered that I doubt the Fang could stab like that if he wanted to. I reread these chapters and I’m mad hyped for that match now
