There's tons of stuff it's okay to question the draw of, though. Being exposed to those thing won't necessarily corrupt the masses, but they can definitely serve as rallying points. I do think the vidyagames poo poo is dumb as hell since it's way too broad and the smallest subset of people are playing "for the violence." But if you're specifically a fan of say, Custer's Revenge, I reserve the right to judge the poo poo out of you.

Which is why we see the fans of more "wholesome" properties (Steven Universe, MLP, boy bands, etc) also sending death threats over the internet

No one goes 'Instead of going to a party with my friends I'll stay home and watch My Little Pony' unless they got serious poo poo going on.
