The second clip is apparently the syndicated version since the Beatles�s song publishers filed a complaint leading to this sound alike for years after the original airing. I�d forgotten it was originally �Golden Slumbers� and I�m glad they went back to it because it�s a nice cover that fits the scene so much better.

Just had a thought. They haven't really done much with Dr. Hibbert's wife as a character and she's been present in the series for how long? She probably has a name but has any one ever uttered it on screen? Her purple shoulder pad power suit has gone in and out of fashion at least a few times during the run, I'm sure.

Even though they ramped down the mean spirit of the show, I've noticed Family Guy still routinely does uncomfortable "lol jews" moments in the newer seasons. Usually all done via that red head guy who used to just be an eccentric hypochondriac before they changed him to be whatever the hell he is now.

it could just be something I'm completely misremembering but I think older looney tunes used a wider range of sounds and instruments. The animaniacs/tiny toons sound palette is a lot more xylophoney and muted horn sections going waaaaaaaaaaaaa (not the trombone wah-wah you're thinking of)
