Nah, the problem is that there's just not enough variety in the stages. They should have made them shorter and included some of the awesome stuff that had to be cut. Some bosses would also help.

My opinion is that Hidden And Dangerous 2 is the best WW2 game of all time. It loving sucks that the devs will be stuck making mediocre Mafia games for the rest of eternity.

All modern Ubisoft games have certain achievements that give you funbux that carries over between games and can't be bought. The first thing I did in Far Cry 4 was buy a big fuckoff revolver with a scope and it broke the earlier parts in glorious ways.

While Uplay sucks balls otherwise this was a cool thing to implement.

The only fantasies that are final that I've genuinely enjoyed were XII and XV. I normally hate the combat in JRPGs but found it fun in those two. Also, my first JRPG was Mystic Quest and I liked it at the time.

With that said, Jim Sterling has revamped his little show and everyone hates it. Former fans are pissed because he changed the theme song. Everyone else hates it even more because he now has a cane and a steampunk top hat. I'm loving it!

The New Super Mario Bros games are mediocre platformers at best. They're actually probably a little below average tbh; this is coming from someone who's played perhaps thousands of 2D platformers. I played NSMB1, NSMB2, and NSMBWii. The fact that so many professional reviewers rate these game highly has created a huge distrust of all game reviewers for me.

The NSMB team was where Nintendo would send new hires as a way to show them the ropes. Once a game was done most of the people would graduate to work on other projects as needed. At some point the team got upgraded to a proper one and got some more veterans to lead. The first title they made was Spaltoon. In other words it's very unlikely the Switch will see a NSMB and I'm glad of it.

I'm at the point with Binding of Isaac that I just keep a wiki open on my second screen since there's so much poo poo to keep track of. Just let me pause and pull up a list of all the items, cards and power ups I'v ever picked up plus the pills from the current run.

The tech in the Kinect is actually really solid. It's the same stuff TrackIR uses for headtracking and works absolutely perfect in games like Eurotruck and Elite. The caveat is that you have to wear a cap with a piece of plastic bolted on.
The problem is that MS in their infinite wisdom did not use reflective tape or similar so the camera sees gently caress all. As goofy as it would look if you wore reflective gloves and a cap and something on your legs it would actually be fully functional.
As is, the only games that are fun for it are the two Doublefine thingies that just let you gently caress around. Utter wasted potential.

Fist of the North Star got a demo on PS4 today and it's... good?
I was expecting mediocre God Hand after watching a trailer but instead they've recycled the Yakuza engine with all the weird poo poo that entails. For most of the demo Kenshiro and Bat fart about a dusty shithole trying to scrounge up parts for a car. The town has a bunch of stores, cafes and even an arcade. There's also a nightclub that's being run by Kenshiro for some reason.
Combat is also similar to Yakuza but a bit snappier and with more dudes exploding. I think I might actually have to get this.

To be fair I'd watched two trailers beforehand and they only contained brawling that looked a bit like God Hand.

Anyway, I hope the driving is better than the demo made it seem. The controls felt iffy and having to stop to have a fight if someone as much as nudges you seems irritating.

Due to the old rear end Sega Collection releasing on Switch tomorrow I finally decided to give the version I've had on Steam for years a go. I noticed it has Workshop support and figured it might have some amusing hacks. Sure enough, if you want to play as Sailor Moon in Streets of Rage 2 that's easy enough to fix. What I wasn't expecting was the assload of ROMS people have been uploading.
Wanna play Moonwalker? Obviously you do. Just search for it in the workshop and subscribe.

Then fire up the game, locate Ristar in the library and open the mod menu.

Hey presto, in no time you'll be busting out funky moves and saving children from Joe Pesci.

I know this isn't a new thing and whoever is in charge of the game will delete the ROMs from time to time but they keep popping up. I find it funny as hell that Valve is probably the number one distributor of illegal Genesis ROMs. I doubt Sega is even aware of it and also wonder how pissed companies like EA and Konami would get if they found out.

I could still see EA trying to sue the poo poo out of Sega over it. The easiest solution would be to just remove the whole Workshop part entirely. Obviously people would easily get around it but then Valve and Sega would be in the clear.

Not gonna link to it but everyone who doesn't work at the rape factory should deffo search for Rape Land on Steam. This new self publishing system Valve launched seems like it's working real well.

Control the choices of a menacing serial killer rapist during a zombie apocalypse. Verbally harass, kill, and rape women as you choose to progress the story.

It's a dangerous world with no laws. The zombies enjoy eating the flesh off warm humans and brutally raping them but you are the most dangerous rapist in town.

Rape Day is a choice driven visual novel. It does not include grinding or any other time wasting activities. So skip the foreplay and enjoy your Rape Day; you deserve it.

RAPE DAY - THE VISUAL NOVEL GAME CONTAINS:
More than 500 images
Over 7 thousand Words
Evil Choices
