Just used a Charge TM to take my 14/11/15 89% Machamp's moveset from Counter/Heavy Slam to Counter/Close Combat. A++ would raid again.

Well it took three charge TMs but my fully powered up Dragonite has Outrage finally. Two Tyranitar raids this morning, missed the first but it had lovely CP anyhow, nabbed the second and it had even worse CP and 73% IVs. At least it was a female so that's one more checkmark off the genderdex.

I saw both a Heracross and a Corsola in gyms so I've got silhouettes for every regional that's not a Farfetch'd. Someone has to have one around here, I just need to find it.

Man, 2 Bowser Wheezing Shadow Balled the hell out of my troops and I couldn't kill him. Doesn't hurt that the annoying repeated dying animation latency bug is back for me and it took a good 15 seconds off my clocks.

I would just be really happy to actually participate in a raid, just one time  Four days in a row and the current system keeps booting me out of the lobby no matter how many times the fight kicks off. I guess I'll have to give it a few weeks before the hype dies down? All I can think of is that it's a server overload issue over here

I fought one earlier, it had Dark Pulse as a charge move and wiped out my psychic attack team. But I was able to go back in with the default team after that and finished it off just as the timer hit 0. It'll be nice when they implement that saved battle team function that's been datamined.

What's cool is that TMs allow a select few Pokemon to have brand new "psuedo legacy" movesets that have more overall power than what was possible before. You take a legacy 'mon with a desired legacy quick or charge move and use TMs to give him a matching new-era move that previously could not have been possible. Magneton, for example, can now use legacy Thunder Shock with new-era Zap Cannon to be more powerful than a mere new-era Charge Beam / Zap Cannon model. This does not affect many Pokemon, or many top-tier Pokemon. Nor are the hybrid legacy movesets even often the new best for the species. But it's a pretty neat trick. And Magneton in particular ain't so bad, because he can smash a Gyarados 1000 CP bigger than he is.

My longest lasting defender in the city so far is a Shuckle. I don't even remember where I put it. It's a pretty high level one though. Maybe that defense stat counts for something now.

Used my first TM today, turned a Bullet seed/Psychic Exeggutor into a Bullet seed/Solar Beam one. Pretty happy with these new TMs.Away all Goats posted:Doesn't have to be a chat room. Did a Level 2 Raid on my own today. Got some rare candies for my trouble I guess... but surprised I was able to do it on my own. I also spun a gym yesterday to get my Raid pass, used it today, and then got another Raid pass again to use today. So at least you can get two free raids in a day, technically

I quite like the new gym setup, although I find it's very hard to get a group of people together to take down a gym. I live in London and although there are lots of people, there are so many gyms and raids going on that I never seem to get that many people near me. I suspect I'll have to go right into the center of town for a populated raid. I think the most disappointing thing is the daily coin cap and the lack of influence you have on it. I got a popup at 7:30 this morning, "Snorlax has returned with 50 coins". Which is crap, because now I know that every other Pokemon that comes back today was basically a waste of time putting in in the first place

A the gym closest to my house got a zen headbutt/hyper beam Snorlax raid, but nobody came... Looked around the local facebook group and it's all a bunch of people giving out GPS coordinates and asking spoofers to come help them raid

Is there specific information about gym badge rewards? I'm assuming the rewards will be specific to the gyms you've got the badges in, but has anyone figured out how they will work? Hopefully you can get something useful like TMs and rare candies once a day from a gold gym

I've got a couple gyms at silver and I get +2 bonus items when I spin it and my team controls it. Bronze, +1 bonus item when spun and my team controls it. I don't remember off hand what happens when I spin a silver gym another team controls. My guess is gold will be +3 bonus items. rare candies and TMs are, I believe, raid-exclusive rewards. I'm 2 for 3 on getting TMs out of raids, I'd like that to continue.
