I miss good Kunitz but I look forward to that capspace coming up. With him, Daley, and Fleury likely coming off the books I do wonder what they'll be up to this off-season. between malkin having his stick down first on the draw the pens scored on and the whistle that stole the second cbj goal this should be 2-0. i don't normally get angry at hockey stuff or sports in general but i am loving pissed. edit: can't forget the missed high stick that had calvert spitting blood in the first period ofc

I am under the impression by literally everything I've ever seen and read about hockey that the road team MUST have their stick down first for faceoffs unless the home player relinquishes that advantage.

They changed that either this year or last year to the team in the defensive zone putting their stick down first to increase offensive zone faceoff wins to increase scoring.
