MMM THAT FAUX LEATHER
Problem description: this is an odd one but my pc just hard locked after hours of running all morning. I gave it a minute but then forced it to shut down by holding in the power button. I see a green light on the motherboard but no response when I try to power it back on.

Attempted fixes: reseating power cables and checking connections. Everything seems in order. It wasn't kicked or bumped at all when it locked up and has been running fine all morning.

Recent changes: no changes, same as it's been for years

Operating system: Windows 10

System specs: home built
I5-2500, gtx 970, 16gb ram, 750w power supply

gently caress of course as soon as I commit to posting the thread, I try reseating the cmos battery again and it boots right up.

May this thread stand as a monument to my idiocy.
