What is it?
This is a goon tournament of Jackbox Party Pack 2. It will feature Fibbage 2, Quiplash XL, and Drawful 2 (despite not technically being part of Jackbox 2). No 100 player games this time, but all the games feature :siren: AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION! :siren:

How will this work?
At least once a week, I will host a live stream of Jackbox Party Pack 2. You can join the game via jackbox.tv and play in any number of streams each week. Points for each individual game will be tracked, and your best score for each game for the week will be counted. Scores from week to week will be cumulative. So, for example, if you best score in Week 1 Fibbage is 10,000, and your best score in Week 2 Fibbage is 7,500, your total Fibbage 2 score after two weeks will be 17,500. I will track both an overall winner (most points across all games) as well as winners by individual game (so there will be a Fibbage winner, a Drawful winner, etc.).

What's the prize for winning?
The real prize is friendship.

When will it take place?
I'm going to aim for one stream every Sunday as well as a second stream sometime during the week, with more streams as my schedule allows. I want to give enough opportunities for goons with various schedules and in various time zones to participate, after all. Advance notice of streams will be posted in the thread, probably about a week ahead and then a reminder the day before or day of. Each stream will cover at least one session of each game, preferably two, since there are only three games this time around.

How do I play?
All you need is the ability to look at two browser tabs/windows. Just tune into the stream on one side, jackbox.tv on the other, enter the room code and your SA name to jackbox.tv, and you're in! You can even watch the stream on a computer and join jackbox.tv on your smartphone if you want! But for full immersion, you can grab a microphone and join the Goons Don't Know Jack Discord server to chat along with me and any other goons doing likewise.

No I mean how do I play these games?
Oh.
Drawful 2: Basically Pictionary with the serial number filed off. You draw a picture based on a prompt (so a mouse or touch screen is recommended). Then, each picture is shown and each player first types in what they think the prompt was, then selects from all the entries plus the real one, trying to guess the real one. Drawful 2 gives you a second color!
Fibbage 2: Balderdash with the serial numbers filed off. The game will give everyone a prompt with a blank (like "In Chicago, there are more _____ in offices than people.") Each player then types in something to fill the blank that they think the others will believe. Then all the entries are shown along with the real answer, and each player tries to pick out the real one from all the fakes everyone wrote. Fibbage 2 adds the De-Fib-rilator, which you can use once per game to remove all but one fib and the truth from one question!
Quiplash XL: The game will give everyone two prompts (such as, "The title of the song you'd write for the Olympics"), with any given prompt going to two players. You type in your best answer to the prompts. Then, the game will show the prompt and the two answers given by players, and everyone else votes on their favorite. Points are awarded based on the percentage of votes received.

Special thanks to CJacobs for the images!

I've never played Quiplash so it will be interesting to see how badly I do.

Since there is only the three games will you be keeping the format the same as the first Jackbox Tournament? Meaning we play one round of the games for the tournament and then free play afterwards if everyone has time? Or since there is only three will there be a second round to possibly improve your score from the first round?

Each stream will cover at least one session of each game, preferably two, since there are only three games this time around.

Also note the new Goons Don't Know Jack Discord server so people who weren't already in the SALT Discord don't have to pester mods for invites to participate.

Do I need to own the Partypack myself to join? It doesn't look that way but clarification would be nice. Other than that I think I'll try myself at this because the videos of the fist one were fun.

Nope, only the person hosting the game (CirclMastr) needs the Partypack. Players just need a browser.

CirclMastr: What do you think about having the Discord group doing some Bombcorp sessions as bonus videos. It's not suitable for the tournament but would be fun to watch.

That's a shame, it's my favourite of the bunch. Drawful 2, Fibbage 2 and Quiplash XL are all excellent though. Nobody's complaining about the loss of Earwax.

I think Earwax only works when everyone's playing in person.

Earwax quickly turned into "who gets the sound effects that most sound like :jackbud: or :itwaspoo:" & Bidiots just isn't that fun to watch (though IIRC our test run had art topics of Garbage Bag, Man Purse, Duffel Bag and Laundry Bag so despite best artistic efforts it was sort of tough to tell which bag was the one you were given a clue to bid on)

Considering how awful interpreting the prompts in Drawful can be at times, that sounds even worse.

And nowhere near as funny.

Yeah, that's the whole point. If people could tell which specific picture they need, there would be far less bidding and far less risk.

You might have a typo there. Originally it should start at 11 PM UTC (as shown in the Eastern and Pacific times). If things changed then correct those times or risk people showing up late.

Other than that looking forward to another 3 hour sanity destroying event.

Edit: Nevermind. For some reasons I was still talking about this week. Times are probably right due to daylight savings.
