Their BBQ isn't the best in the area (though it's perfectly good! Their ribs and 'chopped' are great but I'd go somewhere else for brisket) but their BBQ sauce is the poo poo. Sometimes I'll go and just order a half pound of ribs so I can fill up like 4 or 5 cups worth of sauce to bring back home.

the original rudys in leon springs is hella good for some reason they have different menu from their franchises but yea the sause is good and you can fill up your gas tank while waiting for your food that's p much everything needed in life

Rudy's is definitely the worst BBQ I've eaten in the San Antonio area, so at least it's truth in advertising! Granted I ate the "Brisket" jerky when I was there, so they might have something good.

I've been in Texas long enough to have some really good barbecue and honestly Rudy's is pretty good if you're in a pinch and just want some barbecue The sauce is good and their potato salad is awesome
