This thread sort of explains it pretty well, everyone grieves differently and his death will now Mean Something. Basically, lay off widows and family members even if they're potentially being stupid: https://twitter.com/mkhammer/status/836826353630654464

Now, for the amount of ways this all goes sideways for Donnie:

- Donnie apparently quoted Mattis that it was a good mission and produced good intel. I doubt Mattis was happy about that.
- NBC News is already reporting that the intel they found was garbage and Donnie (and Mattis) may be lying https://twitter.com/SopanDeb/status/836802054404386820
- Donnie already blamed his generals: "They lost Ryan"
- The father is calling for an investigation and yelling at Donnie.
- The operation falls under the oversight of the Senate Armed Services Committee, led by one John McCain.

Obama did a fuckton in the first few days because the economy was melting. So he signed BIG bills on women's fair pay, children's health insurance, and the massive stimulus/recovery bill. Donnie hasn't really done a goddamn thing except for the supreme court nominee and the train wreck of an executive order. He's mostly just yelled a lot. The only thing that Obama stumbled this hard on in his first 100 days was closing Gitmo. He had a couple of dumb self-inflicted wounds (intervening in that idiotic snafu between Henry Louis Gates and that dumbfuck cop) but mostly he was focused on getting stimulus passed and shaping the beginnings of Obamacare.

quote:

FORMER VP JOE BIDEN is still hanging around town. He was spotted looking tan and relaxed, sporting a blue blazer Sunday at the Whole Foods on Wisconsin Avenue. He posed for photos with staff, hugged and kissed a staff member who was particularly excited to see him and walked out with groceries and the Sunday New York Times.

Yeah it's pretty obvious that they're trying to paint any opposition as the enemy of the American people. Who wouldn't stand and clap for a war hero? Also anyone who points out that the raid yielded no significant intel is just fake news trying to tarnish a dead man's memory.
