The obvious solution is to turn your entire bedroom into a HDD cage with a UPS under your bed. You can make your motherboard a framed art piece on the wall (make sure to match the frame to your RGB lighting) and use a riser card to display your chosen artist stage name. Once you've built your masterpiece and everything works perfectly flood your bedroom with mineral oil for cooling.

That being said the commonly accepted standards for PC cases have improved a lot from a decade ago and what the likes of Corsair etc are offering now are excellent. I'd buy Corsair if I was buying today. That might change tomorrow though because that's just how tech stuff rolls.

I would love to build a passively cooled PC but I'd ruin it by stuffing a high end video card inside because that's my thing. Next build I'm just going to focus on foam insulation for noise dampening instead of l33t cool d00d glass window bullshit. Only "problem" is my i5 2500k has legs so long I still can't justify replacing it.
