Here I have highlighted my changes to Robert Frost's Canis Major. BYOB Posting The great BYOB That heavenly forum With a star in one eye Gives a leap in the east. He posts all night All the way to the west And never once stops posting On his forefeet to rest. I'm a poor underdog, But to-night I will post On the great BYOB And as a jumping off point for new posters, here is one of Crushing Love's Pokemon poems. It should be easy to edit into something humorous, due to the serious tone of the original work. Pokemon Love Charmanders are Red, Squirtles are blue If you were a Pokemon I'd choose you. Your smile is stronger then a Hyper-beam. Like Jessie and James we'd make the perfect Team. I'll stay by your side like Pikachu and Ash, And I'll love you more then a level 80 Rapidash. You're more legendary then a Zapados, Entei, or Mew. But out of all 450, I choose you. Thank you for participating in the BYOB POETRY SLAM 2017!
