Aldorf has a lot loving important buildings competing for extremely limited build space, what with a port and a valuable trade resource in the provence.

I like to make grabbing Marienburg early, since it can become an economic powerhourse with a bit of investment, but that was several DLCs and patches ago. During my empire campaign it was pretty much the only province keeping me in the black.
