to be fair the nfl media wholesale invented a 49ers seahawks rivalry a few years ago and have now completely abandoned it since the 9ers are dogshit so its not just the nba doing things like this e: also that weird rant about The Names On The Front!!!! is actually one of the best things about the nba, players rule who freaking cares about teams

they didnt have that animosity to keep it going cause it was entirely fabricated and no one loving cared about it before the nfl did a massive media push pretending it existed. they started running kaep/wilson side by side ads to promote the rivalry they just made up
