I didn't love the episode, although I did find Morty's arm to be a hilarious character. The weird discordant Mad Max/GoT imagery was especially jarring for me. That said, Last Chance posted:"Unless...my suffering is your nourishment?" This was a really good moment.

Yeah this show, which was originally about an old man forcing a child to lick his balls in order to power a spaceship, just got way too dark and mean for me. Smh. I'm out.

I think trying to analyze this show on a deeper level is stupid and runs counter to the messaging it presents on a near-weekly basis. Like yeah, authorial intent doesn't matter, but the show regularly antagonizes the wannabe AV Club writers who do so.
