There's a special election currently ongoing for HHS secretary Tom Price's old seat. It's a weird clusterfuck open primary race where if any candidate captures 50%, they autowin. If no candidate gets 50%, the highest Democrat faces the highest Republican. There's one Democrat running, named Ossoff, and he's near-ish to 50%. There are like five or six Republicans running and none of them are cracking like 20%, due to the fractured republican field. I kinda doubt think this really means anything. Bannon is still wormtonguing Trump, so he still has access to everything, and Trump still takes his counsel. Unless there really was something in the background regarding Bannon being shadow-president that got Trump pissed off enough to put him on a leash. That would actually be funny.
