I mean, my parents bought me (?) a Colecovision in 1983, I spent the next summer beating records on Turbo, Mousetrap and The Smurfs. I guess if the market crashed I could just survive on the fourth Xbox, the Xbox One Scorpio with just a platform game, a maze game, and a racing game with gimmick controls.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RE2hNrq1Zxs i only have a cursory education in computer hardware engineering but from what i understand this has some impressive features. the system on chip might bring down the cost, the hardware implementation of DX12 is a cool hack that will provide performance gains far beyond what the straight specs would suggest, they're fixing the lovely RAM bandwidth. the specs own but I own a PS4 and I love all of the exclusives that have come out this year, which completely blindsided me, I literally didn't know they existed until they came out. vaguely remember some robot dinosaur hunting game they showed at E3. so how much is this piece gonna cost and why should i buy it, you got games? any games that look good?

$500 is way too expensive i might think about it at $400, and there's no games huh. it just makes yer old games look slightly better. actually imo the xbone graphics are bad and this just brings those older games graphics up to where they should have been to begin with. where's the games that are designed for this hardware specifically? is that even going to be a thing

There is no way this will perform better than a GTX1080/i7 combo, right? Is their plan literally to put every 1st and 2nd party thing on PC as well, except maybe Halo, and hope Halo still moves units in TYOOL 2017?

I've got an i5-6600k at 4.5Ghz and a 1070 "superclocked" edition and 16GB DDR4 and my pc can't even handle a smooth 30fps in 4k when I tried it out last weekend on any title I own. How the hell is a tiny little console optimized to be able to do that when a "enthusiast" gaming PC with better specs can't?
