Hi outdoor goons!

I'm just about to take the leap into camping with kids :ohdear:

I'm picking up a tent in the end of season sales and going to pick up more gear as the months go on, with the aim of taking it out proper in late spring.

We've done some safari tent camping with small children and it was fun, but that didn't involve having to pitch a tent after a multiple hour drive so that could make things more interesting.

We're pretty lucky in that we live in the middle of England so have easy access to amazing places like the Peak District, Cotswolds and the south west coast isn't too far for us either.

Any handy tips for poo poo I really should buy or avoid would be fantastic!
