Do you just mean the encounters get lame? Bc I've only played DMC1 and 3 but the game are basically combat boxes with different enemy types

DMC4 took the 2 characters and made you play both but like in a way that clearly felt like they designed he game for Nero and intended Dante to be the post game reward type character like Vergil

I turned on the jp dub for a stage and the mysterious dude voice is chiyos dad/ johnny from guilty hear norio wakamoto or whatever. Cool. But i went bacl to english cuz bayos va is too good
