Problem description: I was having trouble updating my iTunes so that I could put music on my phone, I was getting an "itunes6464.msi" error. Attempted fixes: I followed the advice a few websites suggested and searched for the .msi file and deleted it. I then went to uninstall iTunes, which was the next step in the guide, and got this: I downloaded Microsoft Fix It, but thought I'd ask for help here first since it didn't work out the first time. Recent changes: No recent changes Operating system: System specs: The computer itself is a Dell XPS 8300, I'm not certain why it says Toshiba Notebook in the shot above Location: Canada I have Googled and read the FAQ: Yes

The newer incarnations of Itunes are just awful, I had major issues trying to connect my perfectly good Ipod and sync. Your best bet is to roll back to an older version, I think 7 works okay (they're up to 12).
