Looking professional when committing genocide is essential. This is mostly achieved by using a beret.

Olive drab colour ensures the genocider will remain hidden from his prey until it's too late for them to do anything.

They thought that voting for Brexit would

a) Refill the seas to where they were in 1830
b) Mean the royal navy would sink every FACKIN SPANIARD and other EU invader and once again Britannia's fishing boats would rule the waves

But obviously those things won't happen.

For a reason I don't loving understand. Someone please fill in the gaps - I stopped paying attention to politics from about 1999 to 2007. In the period before that, the Tories a had a shitload of nutters we used to take the piss out of, but they were a fringe thing. In the period after that, *all of the loving nutters were in charge*. How the crap did that happen? I have no loving clue - I mean it's got to the point where John Major looks entirely reasonable.

Old people have too much power, and now our options are 1940s little englander social democracy, or 1950s Take Back Suez identity politics, both of which are probably quite impractical.

Brexit and then the election both parties lost badly were meant to be a learning experience that the public was offering the political class, but I think they either failed to get that, or don't care.

It is totally unknowable why a committed socialist would want to leave the EU

https://www.spectator.co.uk/2018/03/a-very-eu-coup-martin-selmayrs-astonishing-power-grab/

There is just absolutely no reason to think its a cudgel used by a country so insanely broke brained that they think austerity is the only path forwards

http://foreignpolicy.com/2018/03/08/the-most-dangerous-man-in-europe-is-jens-weidmann/

Its not like somebody would openly say they want to take the decision making process out of the hands of voters and give it to wise technocrats

I'm somewhat suspicious of any socialist that doesn't think global communism is the solution. It's really annoying, his stance on this is the one thing me and my mates can't agree with him on.

That would be the election where both the major parties saw a massive surge in support?

After the Brexit vote, it seems clear the EU is hell bent on punishing Britain for wanting out, so you might as well go all the way with it and try to make the best of it.

Features of any good socialist network:

- Sets up courts specifically for external corporations to sue them for harming their profits.
- Insistence on fiscal contraction for non-goods exporting areas.
- Watches and nods as corrupt government takes care of "internal affairs" by beating up old people at a nonbinding vote.
