Trucker's Woman is out and it's one weird rear end movie. Christian Slater's insane (literally insane and now homeless) father stars as an obviously 40 year old guy who we are supposed to believe just dropped out of college to solve the murder of his father (a truck driver that is obviously a younger man than him). Our 40 year old college dropout protagonist sexually assaults someone in the first 15 minutes because you know it's the '70s and that stuff was totally fine then!

Probably Truckers Woman. Unless, I'm not remembering the Dark correctly, Truckers Woman attempt at being upbeat makes it more fun.

Edit: I was thinking of a different rifftrax than "The Dark" which I definitely saw but remember nothing about it besides Casey Kasem

I noticed angel's revenge was on prime so I finally watched the RiffTrax version. Two things I forgot:

1. American Nazis are not as much fun to make fun of anymore.
2. Ted Cruz played the sleazy car salesman.

From what I’ve heard the numbers on live shows have been dwindling the past few years. Most theaters in my area haven’t bothered to carry them anymore.

To be honest, I like to wait for the ones that will hit vod. Too many people can't seem to behave in theatres (worst instance was people "riffing" poorly and chatting about the references during it until I had to ask them to stop during one of the early live ones. Bizzare. Maybe they just sucked at whispering )

I still think it's entirely plausible that is the version of the film that was available for licensing. Like it's not rifftrax itself doing the editing. TV edits for time and the like

So what do they have left for "infamous" bad movies? Like I could see some more David Wascavage movies or maybe Wicked World (from Barry J Gillis, the guy behind Things)

Michael Kupperman shared parts of 2 posters in progress for rifftrax on his patreon but I don't recognize what movies they may be.
