I write lol if I disagree or agree with something politically, and lmao if i disagree or agree with something a lot. I'll write it after stuff I say myself, as well, so people are sure to know that I agree with me. This is an accurate representation of how I laugh in real life; not because something is funny, an alien concept to me, but to underline a point. Like, maybe I will say "the European union is really good, actually, hope this helps" and then just burst out laughing.
