Do you find RTSs fun? It's like the beginner version of one of those. But the trade off for not having to control anything is that most of the game is obviously out of your control.

I guess that's why I find it so baffling that I can't figure out what's supposed to be fun about them, because I really like RTS campaign modes. I even like SC2's campaign, though the Human part is way too basic and boring for way too long. Zerg and Protoss campaigns are super fun though still not as fun as Frozen Throne's campaign

Was there a shitload of ambient story in the Casino area that I completely missed or something?

I don't think you missed much, same thing happened to me. They get a lot more complex. It's a really fun game and more peeps should be playing it

Nice. I'll probably go ahead and pick it up while it's on sale even though I know I won't get around to it for a while.

I started a new run of TLOU Remastered, I think this is my 6th time, though I've only beaten the game twice and never on the two highest difficulties.

I'm trying a gimmick of "everything must die". Like, I'll use some stealth but I'm killing every enemy that I can (excepting obviously the parts where enemies don't stop coming)

Even on Survivor, it's actually not that hard to play like this. Enemies killed with bullets will tend to drop bullets, and in the first half or so of the game you can get through most encounters with melee alone as long as you're careful. You get free health refills at designated story points so the damage you take isn't a big deal (you can also game the system by waiting to upgrade your max health until you're almost dead, because that's another free refill)

...I think TLOU is gonna become my Max Payne 3 (CJacobs joke)

I think I'm about 2/3 through Little Nightmares. I just got to the third of five levels anyway. It's really good, and I hear the last two levels are way better than the first 3 so I'm super psyched. Comparisons to LIMBO, INSIDE, ODDWORLD, SILENT HILL, and LITTLE BIG PLANET are pretty spot on, it's like someone ripped the guts out of those games and threw them in a blender in a very good way. The puzzles are way more "organic" (pun not intended, I swear) than in INSIDE and I've already had a few of those great "ooohhhhhhhh I get it!" moments.

$20 is arguably steep for the crowded "small creepy child avoids big horrible scary things" genre but the graphics are incredible and also legit nightmarish

It's a strong recommend already.

Just because you link clickbait doesn't mean you have to be as disingenuous about it. All it says is that they haven't started on the next ME game yet. The MP is still being supported (today there was a massive balance patch for it) so it's not "on hiatus".

How is that disingenuous? Usually at this point they would already be working on the next game yet all signs point to it not being in the works, which is news. The statement from EA basically confirms this.

To me, "we haven't started working on the next game yet but are still adding things to the multiplayer mode of the game that came out 6 weeks ago" is very different to "we've decided to put the series on hiatus".

No, I'm only saying that the support exists. If I were to guess, I'd guess that the ME:AMP is not nearly as healthy as they expected it to be.

Like, I'm basically just being a pedantic dick about internet doomsaying and the inaccurate use of quotes around "on hiatus" implying that anyone official, anywhere, actually used the term "on hiatus".

I legitimately hate that this stuff bothers me, if it helps!
