I finally got back to some Persona 5 last night. Made it through July and into August. poo poo's getting weird man! Rusty Venture has a daughter locked up in his house?! But boy howdy I'm getting sick of cutscenes, I hope I can go dungeon hopping again soon. Also I'm pretty sure I'm now dating my homeroom teacher.

Nice. I'll probably go ahead and pick it up while it's on sale even though I know I won't get around to it for a while. I started a new run of TLOU Remastered, I think this is my 6th time, though I've only beaten the game twice and never on the two highest difficulties. I'm trying a gimmick of "everything must die". Like, I'll use some stealth but I'm killing every enemy that I can (excepting obviously the parts where enemies don't stop coming) Even on Survivor, it's actually not that hard to play like this. Enemies killed with bullets will tend to drop bullets, and in the first half or so of the game you can get through most encounters with melee alone as long as you're careful. You get free health refills at designated story points so the damage you take isn't a big deal (you can also game the system by waiting to upgrade your max health until you're almost dead, because that's another free refill) ...I think TLOU is gonna become my Max Payne 3 (CJacobs joke)

i thought people forgot about halo because it was actually a very mediocre game and there have been eleventy billion games since then that have improved on it in every way it's like asking "why did people forget about King's Quest" EDIT: the King's Quest reboot is VERY GOOD though, probably because Roberta Williams wasn't involved

i played some halo multiplayer at friends' houses and it just made me want to go get my dreamcast and slam unreal tournament in there man i had a lot of fun playing online dreamcast. and dreamcast with a goddamn 56k connection allowed for lag-free games of Madden, UR tournament, pso and soul calibur, what sorcery is this

I think I'm about 2/3 through Little Nightmares. I just got to the third of five levels anyway. It's really good, and I hear the last two levels are way better than the first 3 so I'm super psyched. Comparisons to LIMBO, INSIDE, ODDWORLD, SILENT HILL, and LITTLE BIG PLANET are pretty spot on, it's like someone ripped the guts out of those games and threw them in a blender in a very good way. The puzzles are way more "organic" (pun not intended, I swear) than in INSIDE and I've already had a few of those great "ooohhhhhhhh I get it!" moments. $20 is arguably steep for the crowded "small creepy child avoids big horrible scary things" genre but the graphics are incredible and also legit nightmarish It's a strong recommend already.
