Idk, I've only watched the fight once but I think Whittaker looked pretty well rounded when he easily got Jacare off of his back and proceeded to smash him with a bunch of different strikes.

I think women's 125 should be cool and certainly makes way more sense than creating an entire division with approximately three or four fighters just for Cyborg to never fight in. There's plenty of women too small for 135, but far too big for 115, Valerie and Calderwood being the prime examples I could think of off the top of my head. Maybe we could see the loser of Joanna vs Jessica move up as well. It could also be a good class for fighters to move up to as they get older. I could see Rose Namajunas doing really well at 125.

I think it was the 2nd episode where that dude defended the rear naked choke incorrectly and both Cody and Castillo immediately went in on the guy, "this is on you," etc. I don't get the vibe that if one of TJ's guys lost they would get that kind of treatment after the fight.

I would guess that on top of not happening till November at the earliest, they also pulled the Bisping GSP fight because no one seemed to give a poo poo about it. If GSP is going to still fight I hope it's back at 170. Maybe he can jab Woodley to death. I look forward to Romero's baffled expression and shoulder shrug as the ref screams for a towel between rounds to wipe off all the water that somehow got poured all over him.

Yeah, Conor was never going to be the difficult side of the deal to get done. He's going to make way, way more money then he ever would in an MMA fight. Floyd will be the tricky one to get signed.

A lack of roids could be to blame for Jones's performance, but ring rust and a sudden change in opponent could also be to blame. Coming from the node based fighting camp, the sudden change in opponent probably threw off a lot of the prep they did for that fight. OSP does hit hard and did connect on Jones clean early in the fight if I remember correctly. He may have just chosen to play it safe after eating that punch early in the fight.
