I feel like such a shitbag for it too because I recorded like 3 or 4 videos worth of content for AH and 04 with SlyCooperFan1 like going on three years ago and I never got around to editing and posting them and the longer it goes on without working on them the worse I feel about it.

I'm actually putting together a project to make a series of short videos of AC7 gameplay set to existing music and likely get another goon/sibling's group to cover Daredevil with Blackened Industrial Metal and a male choir. So once I've got a handle on how editing it all together works I could probably do an Assault Horizon Let's Play(no loving with the audio unless requested). I'm not sure I have all of the aircraft unlocked though. Maybe, not a lot of spare time.

Sky Keeper is far worse. Great job sending one and a half carriers up against an unstoppable superweapon your own country designed and getting most of your pilots massacred because you forgot to mention you'd installed an energy shield on it, dude. It's amazing to replay the early missions and see how half the pilot dialogue is about how much he sucks and is terrible. Clown, by contrast, just tries to be a supportive dad, with the worst thing he does being (very reluctantly) admitting you might be at fault when your idiot boss is hunting for scalps after another of his badly-planned missions goes tits-up.

Technically, a majority of the pilots involved survived that one according to the reports at the end of the DLC. But yeah, I'm pretty sure Bandog and Trigger got along in large part because Trigger was grateful to have a halfway competent AWAC.

And it's not so much finding "a way" to finish X and 7, it's more about finding "the will" to oh yeah, i know that feeling, oof. i believe in you though! as an aside, i don't think i can blame anyone for flaking out on assault horizon, because i've been playing this week and good lord does it sink in quality as it goes on. i swear, mission 13 is literally impossible if you don't bring the 4AAM to cheese the last bomber. literally every established gameplay rule about DFM is broken in this mission, and it turns what was mildly irritating into enraging. i can't shoot down the bomber because he's got an endless amount of flares and i keep getting pulverized by missiles and my allies don't actually destroy the escorts and being targeted by a single enemy in this one section will force me out of DFM on the bomber and enemies who DFM me can hit me with their miniguns seemingly just whenever they feel like it and the game will seemingly decide at random "no drkeiscool, you can't do the counter-DFM thing here for some reason, gently caress you" and and and the cherry on top was seeing akula fly literally 180 degrees just to engage me in DFM on occasion
