The Penguins are breaking down after all the punishment in the playoffs. They really needed to close out game 5. Well it's early. The end of last season was marked by dominant 2nd periods after slow starts, though there's no indication we'll be that lucky here.

To come out of that period only down by 1 is ok by me. Pens have been garbage tonight, but the Caps have been very good. Additionally, it seems like Washington is trying to have 3 back on every play to both clog the neutral zone as well as create turnovers. Hopefully Sully can make an adjustment to attack that better.

The Penguins looked like a beaten team that period. That was the worst I've seen them play all season. Still, it's 1-0 and Fleury continues to keep them in games.
