I'm afraid its because of Super-Science.

Regular-Ass Science is innocent.
I really really liked SRW L, it felt incredibly balanced and had a great variety of series and unit types. It was also a really good version of the Partner System, and I really liked how every unit had a role to play.

When I went back to try K, I was stunned by how shoddy it was in comparison, how the Partner system was more of a hindrance than a help, and how every mechanic just seemed to funnel me into playing Super Solo Wars starring Gaiking and Mist, despite my intent of using everyone.

Then somehow I ended up playing through K like 5 times, while I only did 3 runs of L. I guess K is a better game for mindless abnegation.

Also Zoids.
