I think some of you need to realize that Bungie is never gunna get rid of SBMM and either stop playing a game you hate because of a feature that's going nowhere or accept it.

I love the obsession with hidden secrets people have online. Not just about Destiny but in general but in this case yes about Destiny. Has Destiny ever had a real hidden secret thing? When was the last time anything had some secret ARG thing? Seems like forever.

I think I was more excited for "Destiny 2: pretty much just Destiny 1 with maybe a few fixes" than what we actually got yesterday. Titans are ugly, don't like the new subclasses changes, took away skating, nerfed lightning grenades, 4 v 4 pvp, new weapon categorizing etc it's all kinda disappointing isn't it

I'm sure this has already been discussed and I just missed it but how does the new weapon layout work? Like I know it's kinetic, elemental, power and shotties and snipes are in power now, but can only certain guns be kinetic or elemental? Like are kinetic weapons always AR/Scout/Pulse/HC or is it less divided than that?

Yeah they basically had a bunch of little fractures or stuff referenced so they could expand on some of it and leave a lot of it just as bits and pieces which the nerds ate up. They actually did a pretty good job of salvaging a decent amount of lore and atmosphere from what they had. I think it's a much better approach than trying to make the game very linear and story driven since it's designed to be played over and over again.
